Hello!

I hope you are all doing well and it is so nice to come on here and update you since my last post! I had mentioned within my last journal that I was about to graduate from high school and now I am a sophomore in college (it's crazy how time flies by)! I had also gone over how I had dreamed of pursuing a career in nursing and I was so excited a couple years ago to find out that I had made it into nursing school.

I normally would never post anything like this, but I am trying to fund my study abroad trip to Barcelona, Spain, in order to volunteer and help Special Needs Children. This has always been a dream of mine to use the skills I have learned as a nursing student to help others and truly connect with other people. This is not only an incredible opportunity to learn about a new culture, but is also a way to improve my skills in Spanish, and truly open myself up to the diversity that exists within our beautiful world.

If you are interested in helping me realize this incredible dream any amount would help! $1, $2, or $3. It is all helpful and much appreciated. If you are not interested I completely understand and truly just wanted to get the word out there.

Hello!  

I have not been on DeviantArt in an incredible amount of time and logging back into my account and seeing this website is still alive and well is amazing! I no longer have my Guinea Pigs, as I have previously said, and it has been at least four years since I made the hard decision of giving them away; however, I do not regret my decision and am happy they got to live the rest of their lives happy. Furthermore, I find it absolutely incredible to log back on and see what I left behind for so long. Last time I was on this page I was fourteen years old and now I am eighteen and about to graduate high school and go to college! I grew up loving this site and I never lost the passion I had for Guinea Pigs. However much I wish I could adopt more of these amazing creatures, there is absolutely no way for me to do so as I will be leaving for college this fall. Thank you guys, all my amazing watchers, for still posting and loving your Guinea Pigs! It truly brings a smile on my face to see so many people passionate about these amazing creatures!

If you are curious I left DeviantArt to fully focus my life into my school work and have worked extremely hard to get to the point I am at with my schooling. I am hopefully going to pursue a nursing career and get a nursing degree in college. I am so happy I grew up and learned so much through this site and I felt as though I at least owed you guys this little update of my life! 

Please never stop loving your Guinea Pigs and I will always enjoy coming back to this incredible website to see the amazing posts you guys make!

Well, I have a lot of homework and pets to keep up to and dont have a lot of time anymore. Since i dont have that much time the Guinea Pigs i own are not getting the proper attention they need and deserve and i dont have time to clean their big cages very often. Since I am very busy i thought i would do something kind to them and for myself. A pre-school has offered to take them monday for all the little kids to observe, pet, and feed. They will get all the attention they need there and will be well taken care of so Monday i am taking them there and they will live their lives there being happy and making children smile. It is good for me because I cant bare to see another one of my Guinea Pigs pass away. After my Guinea Pig Delilah Passed away I was just devastatd and dont want to go through that again. They are 4 years old so they are not young that is why i am worrying about them needing to be happy for the rest of their lives cause they dont have so many years left in them. I love them very much and this is why I have to say goodbye to them. It is for them to be happy and my self as well and they will be happy in their new homes on Monday.

<sub>A couple of days ago we looked at Delilah and noiticed she was loosing hair and her eye was getting swollen and she still wasnt gaining weight and her coat wasnt puffy and glossy like it used to be. So we had to decide if it was the kind thing to keep her alive. We decided the worst thing posible..we had to but her down. When we went to the vet to put her down ( Yesterday ) I held her in my arms and when the docter came in the take her away to put her down i cried and did not to let this man take my sweat angel away but my mom told me it was time and i handed her over to the man and he took her away and then i relized i would never see my fluffy puff ball that used to be so happy ever again and i started to cry so hard and i wanted to run back and take her home but i knew if we had her for any longer she would start to suffer. After we got her back we burried her right next to Penny, my sisters guinea pig, that died 3 years ago and put down flowers and i finally said goodbye

<sub>Our Guinea Pig Delilah is growing old and age means health problems start. She has no problem with her front teeth she actually has problem with her back molars. There is something wrong with them or stuck in them that is not anything we can fix without spending 1000 dollars a month to get them fixed and it is very dangerous cause they have to make her sleep to do it and when she is this weak it is very dangerous. They said ( the vet ) that she feels no pain and can live as long as she can ( from old age ) without any problem we just have to give her specific kinds of veggies, hand feed her, and make sure she is gaining weight and drinking her water. They said that she should have no problem living the rest of her life like this and that is does not hurt nor bother her and that she can be fine like this. I cried for an hour when I found out they could not fix her but they said she could live like this for as long as she can with no pain no suffering and would just die of old age which stopped me from crying knowing she is not in pain and that I would have her about a year or a little less longer. I love her and I am hopeful the special diet and care will keep her alive at the least one more little year
